The Company holds a strategic investment 22.5% interest in Hudson-MPA Sdn Bhd.
Apart from our Company, Hudson-MPA is owned by Malaysian Phosphates Sdn Bhd, Ashapura Minechem Ltd (India’s leading producer of bauxite, bentonite and attapulgite) and Safico Sdn Bhd (private Malaysian investor).
Hudson-MPA manufactures a range of bleaching earth products at its plant located at Lumut Industrial Park, Malaysia. Its products are used widely in palm oil filtration to manufacture a range of edible oils.
Being classified as a strategic industry for economic growth, the company has been granted pioneer status by the Malaysian government and was accorded tax free status for 5 years.
We are working with Hudson-MPA to assist them in developing their presence in Malaysia’s bleaching earth markets and other regional locations.
